AAPICAFI association have been founded on 19th of June 2013 having as its members some 24 coffee and honey producers whom gathered together in order to look for newer markets for their products as well as for better administration of new developing projects within their areas. AAPICAFI is located in Huehuetenango, Guatemala. AAPICAFI has today 59 coffee and honey producers’ members whereof 10 are woman and together we have a total of 219,5 hectares of coffee. Coffee varieties we are producing are: Borbon, Tipic, Pache Caturra and Catuai. The members and their plantations terrains variates from altitudes going from 1400 to 1900 masl. Most of the members transport their coffee with their own vehicle, some uses horses and mules as the access does not aloud motorized vehicles and some have to carry themselves as it has traditionally been done here in Guatemala. AAPICAFI members practices the sun dry technic and some of them have elevated and isolated coffee dryer cellars. Our coffee plantations grows under shade of others plants like banana trees, diverse critics and grevillea.

Pezo Import and AAPICAFI have been cooperating together since 2017 and we have visited them in 2018 and 2019.
